Seoul National University, the first national university in South Korea, has established itself as an internationally recognized comprehensive university that embraces all academic disciplines through continuous efforts, including campus integration, leading the way both in Korea and beyond.

As an “intellectual community pioneering the future,” Seoul National University has acquired a reputation for its academic excellence and creative challenges. The university integrated these qualities into undergraduate education when establishing the School of Transdisciplinary Innovations in March 2024 to train future leaders who can create new social values in the innovative knowledge ecosystem of the digital transformation era.

Founded on strong support and high expectations, the newly launched School of Transdisciplinary Innovations serves as a “workshop of boundless dreams,” where diverse students come together to learn and open up the future through bold challenges. We aim to be a representative platform for educational innovation, going beyond one-way knowledge transmission to facilitate transdisciplinary inquiry, critical and creative thinking, and in-depth discussions.

We will make every effort to ensure that every student of our school gains expertise in advanced science and technology, transdisciplinary mindset, and communication and collaboration skills, preparing them to creatively solve the challenges of our community and grow as pioneers of new fields.
