Major Planning
Students of the School of Transdisciplinary Innovations select their major after three semesters of exploration to gain a thorough understanding of their interests and strengths.
To support this process, the School has established a team of faculty advisors for Major Planning. Through these advising sessions, students can take time to reflect on their abilities, values, strengths, passions, and motivations. They can also gain an in-depth understanding of the educational focus and career paths offered by the five majors within the School, which helps students develop and implement a plan for a successful university experience. In addition, Major Planning helps students design a personalized academic plan aligned with their interests, drawing on a broad understanding of various disciplines and multi-major opportunities across Seoul National University. By engaging in this self-directed academic planning, students can develop learning agility and grow into competitive, transdisciplinary professionals.
